Two Jobs

I'm trapped inside an invisible cage 			Am G  Am
Working two jobs for the minimum wage 		F  E     Am
Most of it goes just to pay my rent			Am  G
I'd buy me a car but my money's all spent		G   E   Am

I finish one job take a bus to the store			Am G  Am
the  trip takes 45 minutes or more			F  E     Am
Some days I'm lucky and get a seat			Am  G
The rest of the day I'll be on my feet 			G   E   Am

Which bill can we pay today?				C  G
Phones the oldest so it goes away.		         C   F   E
Minimum payment on the credit card			C   G
It'll cost more later but now's too hard		         F   E  Am

They cut our hours at the big mall store		Am G  Am
So they won't have to pay health care no more	F  E     Am
Fewer hours means fewer bucks				Am  G
for taking home and that just sucks			G   E   Am

Fewer hours, but just as much work			Am G  Am
Guess you'll  have to work faster they smirk		F  E     Am
Can't handle that we'll just let you go 			Am  G
and hire someone younger who's not so slow	G   E   Am

Which bill can we pay today?				C  G
The gas is the smallest so it goes away.		C   F   E
Minimum payment on the credit card			C   G
It costs more later but now's too hard		         F   E  Am
