He opened the base of a street lamp and attempted to sever the cord.

The shock he received was sufficient to earn him a Darwin award.

Wilhelm got out of his auto to take a short walk for a lark.
After the signs told him not to, in the midst of a wild tiger park.
Tigers by nature are hunters, if you wiggle, most tigers will pounce.
They pounced upon Wilhelm with relish, by all the eye witness accounts.

Three candidates had a dilemma, they needed some money ASAP.
They spotted an old water tower and decided to sell it for scrap.
They got out their trusty blow torches and cut out the tower's supports.
Surprised when the tower then toppled and buried them up to their shorts.
